Advance payment in case of appointment cancellation

We are forced to request an advance payment to patients if they cancel a scheduled appointment less than 24 hours in advance. Appointments must be cancelled by calling 511 444 370, texting 702 242 293, or emailing irecepce@diente.cz more than 24 hours before the appointment. This policy can be read by each patient when signing the anamnesis questionnaire (in section I agree to the processing of personal data box).

If the patient does not arrive for the appointment, or cancels the appointment less than 24 hours in advance, we will be forced to request the patient an advance payment for the next appointment amounting to 500 Kč – 3000 Kč whereas the exact amount shall be based on the agreement with the attending dentist, expected duration of the cancelled appointment and the actual length of the appointment cancellation notice. When the patient arrives at the next appointment, the advance payment or its respective part (in case the patient has more than one appointment) will be deducted from the price of the medical intervention. If the patient fails to arrive and cancels the appointment again, the advance payment shall be forfeited to benefit of the treating dentist.

In case a patient fails to arrive for the scheduled appointment repeatedly, while not having paid previously the advanced payment for each appointment, we will no longer be able to offer appointments.

If an advanced payment has already been paid:

• the patient delivers an appointment cancellation notice more than 24 hours in advance, the advance payment will be transferred to the next appointment.
• the patient delivers an appointment cancellation notice less than 24 hours in advance for serious reasons which can be evidenced by a patient with a certificate (e.g. car accident - certificate of car accident; incapacity, sudden change in health - certificate of incapacity; certificate of major train delay) - the deposit is transferred to the next appointment, upon presentation of the certificate.
• the patient delivers an appointment cancellation notice less than 24 hours in advance without proving serious reasons, the deposit will be forfeited to the benefit of the attending dentist.

The aforementioned rules do not apply to analgosedation. Appointments for analgosedation must be cancelled at least 1 week in advance. The anaesthesiologist will then decide on the advance payment.

Dental hygiene

An advance payment of 500 Kč is requested when arranging for each dental hygiene appointment. This makes the appointment binding for both parties.

In case of appointment cancellation less than 24 hours in advance, the advance payment is non-refundable. No appointment can be offered without the advance payment paid.

The advance payment for the initial dental hygiene appointment remains 1000 Kč.
